The cruise operates by alternating between a short course of approximately 10 minutes (Takeshiba → Hinode) and a long course of approximately 40 minutes (Hinode → Takeshiba), allowing passengers to disembark or reboard at their preferred timing.

However, during busy periods, for safety and smooth operation, passengers may be asked to disembark in the order they boarded.

Additionally, for an extra fee of 500 yen, reboarding is possible, making it easier to travel between Takeshiba and Hinode and enjoy a seamless cruising experience connected to nearby events.

Cancellation policy

If you wish to change or cancel your reservation, please reply to the reservation confirmation email you receive after booking.

Cancellation Fee
  • Cancellation up to 11 days in advance: 0% (full refund)
  • Cancellation up to 8 days in advance: 20%
  • Cancellation up to 2 days in advance: 30%
  • Cancellation the day before: 40%
  • Cancellation up to the reservation time on the day: 50%
  • Cancel after the reserved time on the day of the booking: 100% (No Refund)

Notes

  • You are welcome to take consecutive rides; however, during busy periods, in order to ensure safe and smooth operations, we may ask passengers to disembark in the order in which they boarded. Please be advised that an additional fee of 500 yen will be charged upon reboarding.
  • Minors (ages 3 and up) are welcome to join. Please make a reservation for each participant individually. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • A flat rate applies to all participants, including children.
  • Please refrain from bringing food or drinks.
  • Alcoholic beverages will only be served to passengers who are of legal drinking age.（age verification will be required）
  • Check-in is available from 15 minutes to 5 minutes before departure. If check-in is not completed at least 5 minutes prior, your reservation may be considered a cancellation.
  • Operations may be suspended due to weather or waterway conditions.
  • Seating is unassigned and on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • For your safety, please follow the captain's instructions at all times.
  • Boarding may be refused if a guest appears to be heavily intoxicated or in visibly poor health.
  • Due to the vessel’s structure, strollers and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated.
  • Guests with a body temperature of 37°C (98.6°F) or higher will not be permitted to board.
  • Please take extra care to prevent hats or personal belongings from falling overboard.

Prohibited matters

  • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes.
  • Throwing bait or garbage from the boat.
  • Fishing.
  • Use of umbrellas (including parasols) onboard.
  • Boarding with pets.
  • Any behavior that may disturb or inconvenience other guests.

General Guidelines for WATERS Takeshiba Events

  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is recommended.
  • As these are outdoor events, cancellations or changes may occur on-site due to sudden rain or other weather conditions.
  • Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes.
  • As attendance is limited, please be sure to contact us if you need to cancel or will be absent on the day of the event.
