A special spring cruise departing from and returning to Waters Takeshiba. Enjoy a luxurious moment as you admire Tokyo’s top cherry blossom spots from the water.

This year, we offer two courses: a vibrant, urban route toward the Meguro River, and a scenic, atmospheric route up the Sumida River toward Monzen-Nakacho.

Both courses provide a unique waterfront perspective on Tokyo’s cherry blossoms and cityscape, delivering a spring experience unlike anything on land. Relax by the calm waters and enjoy a peaceful, rejuvenating moment.

A special “Cherry Blossom Cruise” to enjoy the spring season sets off from Waters Takeshiba. Feel the gentle spring breeze as you tour famous cherry blossom spots from the water, experiencing a seasonal delight that can only be enjoyed at this time of year.

This year, we offer two courses:
1) A vibrant, urban course heading toward the Meguro River
2) A scenic, atmospheric course traveling up the Sumida River to Monzen-Nakacho

Both courses provide a unique perspective of Tokyo’s cherry blossoms and cityscape from the water, offering a spring experience unlike anything on land. Relax by the calm waters and enjoy a peaceful, rejuvenating moment.

Regarding Private Charter

Both courses are available for private charter.
If you are interested, please contact us by email at support@horai.sv.
When requesting a private charter, please include up to three preferred departure times and provide them as your candidate dates.
Private charter reservations must be made by 12:00 PM (noon), three days before the date of use.
Please note that email inquiries will be answered on weekdays between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Boarding will be open from 30 minutes to 15 minutes before departure. Please note that if you do not arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure, you may not be able to board.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel, please reply to your reservation confirmation email and contact us at support@horai.sv.

Shared Ride
・Up to 7 days before the date of use: No cancellation fee
・6 days before to the day before: 50% of the fee
・Same day or no-show: 100% of the fee

Charter Ride
・Up to 14 days before the date of use: No cancellation fee
・13 to 7 days before: 50% of the fee
・6 days before to the same day, or no-show: 100% of the fee

Regarding Tour Operation Status

・The tour will proceed in light rain, but will be canceled in case of severe weather. If canceled due to severe weather, we will notify you by email by noon the day before the tour date and process a cancellation (no cancellation fee will be charged).
・If the minimum number of participants (4) is not met, the tour may be canceled. In that case, we will notify you by email by noon the day before the tour date and process a cancellation (no cancellation fee will be charged).

Notes

  • Guests who are heavily intoxicated or may cause inconvenience to other guests may be refused at check-in.
  • The Atre Takeshiba store voucher is valid until April 30, 2026. It can be used at 14 participating stores.
    * For details, please check the Atre Takeshiba website. It will be posted on March 20.
  • If rain is expected, please bring your own rain gear (such as a raincoat). For safety reasons, umbrellas are not permitted.
  • On the Meguro River course, wearing a life jacket is mandatory during boarding for safety reasons.
  • Booking is open until the start of the reception period.
  • Check-in opens 30 minutes before departure at the pier in front of Waters Takeshiba. Please arrive with plenty of time.
  • Arrival times may vary due to weather or other conditions.
  • There are no restrooms on board. Please use the facilities inside Waters Takeshiba.
  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Seating is free and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • For safety reasons, please follow the captain’s instructions while on board.
  • Boarding may be refused if a guest appears heavily intoxicated or clearly unwell.
  • Due to the vessel’s structure, strollers and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated.
  • Bringing your own food and drinks is allowed. Please take your trash with you. (Alcohol is permitted.)
  • Please take care to avoid dropping hats or personal items overboard.
